Spring Gym Fitness and a delicious recipe

Published: Thursday 15 Sep 2022

We made it! Winter is over, and we’re on our way to warmer weather! Getting through the chilly mornings was tough, but we still kicked goals the last few months.

Spring is all about new beginnings.  Shake off the cold mornings, dreary evenings, and anything holding you back. Enjoy the sun streaming through the windows on your morning drive to the centre. Tackle the next few months head-on, we’ll be in summer before you know it. Set your goals and let us help you achieve them.

Speaking of new beginnings, we’ve got three new gym instructors who have joined us! Please say a friendly hello to John, Romeo, and Scarlett when you see them on the gym floor. They all come from different training backgrounds and expertise. We’re excited to expand our pool of knowledge with them on board.

If you’re approaching 6-8 weeks of your current program, it's time to try something new.  Book a session with one of the new trainers. They will be working out of both Box Hill and Nunawading.   Our new instructors will also be taking on Personal Training.

Enquire about PT on our Aqualink Personal Training page.

For some of us, spring is preparing for summer. If your goals are body recomposition, now is the time to get into it! Nutrition is vital. Ensure you’re fuelling your body for exercise with good, nutritious foods. Griffin, our local barista/chef from Surrey Hive at Box Hill, has given us a beautiful recipe. It hits our macro and micronutrients and tastes like a warm spring night!
