Unlocking Harmony: Tang's Journey of Wushu and Tai Chi

Tang - Aqaulink's Tai Chi instructor

Tang's path is woven with martial arts prowess and a passion for fostering well-being. Immigrating from China in 1989, he brings a wealth of experience, having been a professional Wushu athlete since the tender age of seven. After coaching elite athletes back home, he now shares his wisdom in Australia, teaching both Wushu and the graceful, meditative art of Tai Chi.

More Than Just Fitness: Master Tang emphasises Tai Chi's holistic approach, nurturing mind and body. "It's suitable for everyone, regardless of age or ability," he says, inviting all to discover its benefits.

Beyond the Moves: Master Tang's life isn't all about flowing movements. He's also a dedicated 30-year veteran at Aqualink, starting his journey as a lifeguard. With a twinkle in his eye, he reveals his go-to karaoke song ("Yue Liang Dai Biao Wo De Xin" by Teresa Tseng) and his secret dream of owning a motorbike.

Join the Flow: Are you ready to embark on your Tai Chi journey? Master Tang welcomes you to his classes at Aqualink:

  • Box Hill: Tuesdays at 10.50 AM
  • Nunawading: Thursdays at 10.45 AM
