Leanne Hughes - a remarkable member

In the face of a breast cancer diagnosis last December, my life took an unexpected turn.

The subsequent surgeries and treatments left me feeling physically and emotionally drained. During this challenging period, my medical specialists emphasised the importance of exercise in managing the side effects of treatment. I took a leap of faith in March and joined the Aqualink gym.

As soon as I entered Aqualink, I felt supported and understood. The staff made signing up and creating a personalised gym program stress-free and easy. They were knowledgeable and caring, creating a welcoming environment for people of all ages and abilities. Despite feeling nervous, I felt at ease thanks to the friendly and inclusive atmosphere.

Working closely with Sophie, my dedicated trainer, has been an absolute blessing. Her compassion and expertise have been instrumental in developing a program that suits my needs and fills me with a renewed sense of energy.

Through regular exercise and the guidance of Sophie, I have regained control over my life amidst the chaos of cancer.
Sophie's continuous support and personalised adjustments to my program have allowed me to experience the maximum benefits of exercise. Her check-ins and commitment to my well-being have made me feel genuinely valued as a member of the Aqualink family.

I cannot speak highly enough of the incredible team at Aqualink, who have created a safe and inclusive space and played an integral role in my journey towards recovery and reclaiming my life. Their dedication and genuine care have made all the difference.
