Aqualink temporary closure

Council is following the Public Health Directions (Directions) issued by the Chief Health Officer under the Victorian State of Emergency. The health and wellbeing of our community is our highest priority.

The “Stage 3 - Stay at Home” restrictions were reintroduced from 11:59pm on Wednesday 8 July. Council closed Aqualink in compliance with the Directions.

We expect Aqualink to remain closed for 6 weeks, in line with the Premier’s announcement about the Stay at Home Directions. All pre-paid bookings made on 9 July - 15 July were cancelled.

Up to date information about Aqualink will be available on this website.

All Whitehorse residents must comply with the “Stay at Home Direction”. For the health and safety of our community, we must stay at home except for one of the four reasons:

  • Shopping for essentials
  • Provide or receive care
  • Work or study if it cannot be done from home
  • Exercise (outdoor only, with only one other person or your household members)

Details about the restrictions can be found on the DHHS website.
