From Monday 6 July, we're updating our centre opening hours. The gym at both Aqualink Box Hill and Aqualink Nunawading will have earlier access on weekdays and weekends, giving members more flexibility to fit a session into their day. Aquatic hours remain mostly unchanged.

What's Changing

  • The gym is opening earlier across the week
  • On weekdays, gym access now starts at 5.30am (half an hour earlier than before)
  • On Saturdays, the gym will open at 6.00am and at 7.00am on Sundays
  • The entire centre will close slightly earlier on Friday evenings

Why are the hours changing?

  • Our opening hours have stayed largely the same for over 10 years. In that time, a lot has changed. Whitehorse's population has grown by more than 11%, Aqualink membership has grown by around 25%, and more than 2,500 community members shared their feedback on when they want to use the centres.
  • The updated hours are based on how our community uses the facility – based on attendance data, your feedback, and benchmarking against similar leisure centres across Melbourne.
