Aqualink Price Increase - 2026/27

We hope you’re enjoying your Aqualink membership and you are making the most of everything our centres offer. We are writing to update you on upcoming adjustments to your membership.

Leisure Optimisation and Future Direction

Council’s decision to retain in-house management of Aqualink centres marked an exciting new chapter for our facilities and community. In response, the Leisure Optimisation Report was developed and endorsed by Council, outlining our commitment and direction for continued investment in high-quality programs, services and spaces that support your health and wellbeing.

These initiatives build on the significant improvements already delivered across our centres this year, with key enhancements outlined later in this communication. Future optimisation outcomes include:

  • Increased gym operating hours
  • Increased capital investment in facilities and equipment
  • Additional daytime cleaning to improve standards
  • Ongoing gym equipment renewal

We will continue listening to member feedback and evolve our offering, with a range of new initiatives and improvements planned. We are very excited to share these in more detail soon!

Your Membership Fees

As part of Council’s annual budget process, membership fees are reviewed to support the delivery of high-quality facilities, programs and services for our community.

Following this year’s review, your membership fee will be adjusted from 2 July 2026. You will receive an email with further information.

The adjustment reflects rising operational costs, including staffing, utilities and ongoing facility improvements, while supporting the continued investment outlined in the Leisure Optimisation direction.

Please note that the Leisure Optimisation outcomes and fees and charges outlined above are subject to Council endorsement of the 2026/2027 FY Budget.
