Underwater Rugby

Underwater rugby is a fast-paced, anti-gravity contact sport played in a pool up to 5m deep. Players wear a mask, snorkel and fins and hold their breath to tackle underwater. The ball is filled with salt water and can be passed in any direction. Players score a goal at the bottom of the pool by prying the goalie away from the basket.

Victoria Seadragons is the only underwater rugby club in Victoria and it competes in competitions around Australia. A normal Thursday night session at Aqualink Box Hill includes a warm up, drills and a game.

For more information or to attend a training session, please email victoriaseadragonsuwr@gmail.com.au or visit www.facebook.com/groups/302554399905048

Beginners are always welcome and the club can provide equipment and a free trial.
