Conditions of Entry  Printer Friendly

To maximise your enjoyment of Aqualink Nunawading, please be aware of the following;
Regular checks of these areas are conducted. If you do not comply with these rules, you will be asked to leave. 

In The Pool

  • Aqualink NunawadingAll children under the age of 10 years MUST be actively supervised by a parent or guardian 16 years or older at all times whilst in the Centre.
  • Family swim entry includes: 2 adults & 3 children or 1 adult & 4 children.
  • Minimum age for aquatics pass (spa/Sauna/Steam) is 16 years.
  • Respect the rights of patrons and staff while using the Centre.
  • Abusive language, agressive behaviour and smoking are not permitted in the Centre.
  • Follow the instructions of staff at all times.
  • No pushing or flips into the pool.
  • No running in the Centre. Walk at all times.
  • Glass, alcohol & drugs are not permitted in the Centre.
  • Use the Centre at your own risk.

In the Gym

  • Aqualink Nunawading Health and FitnessIn the interest of hygiene, patrons must carry a towel whilst in the gym. Patrons are also required to wipe down cardio eqipment after use with the products provided.
  • Offensive language or abusive behaviour will not be tolerated. 
  • Patrons under the age of 16 are not permitted in the gym (Teen Fitness excluded).
  • Bags are not permitted in the gym. Please obtain a locker to secure your valuables.
  • Under no circumstances are weights to be placed on benches.
  • Weights are not to be dropped. If you require a spotter, please see a gym instructor.
  • Stacking of weights on pin-loaded machines is prohibited at all times.
  • Patrons are required to return all weights to the storage racks after use.
  • Appropriate clothing and enclosed footwear is to be worn at all times.
  • No denim is to be worn in the gym.
  • A 20 minute time limit applies to cardiovascular equipment when all machines are in use during peak times.
  • To create a friendly atmosphere and enhance everyone's workout, patrons are encouraged to work in with other members.
  • Unauthorised Personal Training is not permitted within the Centre.
  • Please respect the rights of patrons and staff while using the Centre.
  • Follow the instructions of staff at all times.
  • Please see a gym instructor if you require assistance.

Group Fitness Classes

  • Group Fitness Classes at Aqualink NunawadingEntry to a class is not permitted once the music has started.
  • Please hold onto your ticket until the instructor collects it from you. No ticket no class.
  • In the interest of hygiene, patrons must carry a towel at all times whilst in the group fitness room. Patrons are also required to wipe down bike seats after use with the products provided.
  • Offensive language or abusive behaviour will not be tolerated.
  • Patrons under the age of 16 are not permitted in the group fitness room (Teen Fitness excluded).
  • Participants must be 16 years and over to attend BODYPUMP, Boxing Circuit, Boot Camp & Fitness Challenge.
  • Bags are not permitted in the group fitness room. Please obtain a locker to secure your valuables.
  • Before the start of the class, please inform the instructor if you are pregnant or have any injuries or conditions that may affect your exercise ability.
  • Patrons are required to return all bars, weights and mats to the designated area after use.
  • Appropriate clothing and enclosed footwear is to be worn at all times.
  • Please respect the rights of patrons and staff while using the Centre.
  • Follow the instructions of staff at all times.
  • Food and chewing gum are not permitted in the Group Fitness Room.

Spa, Sauna & Steam Room at Aqualink NunawadingIn the Spa, Sauna or Steam Room

  • You must obtain a wristband from reception prioir to entering the spa/sauna/steam room. 
  • Only patrons aged 16 years and over may use these areas.
  • It is recommended that you use the spa/sauna/steam room for no longer than 15 minutes at a time.
  • If you begin to feel unwell, contact a staff member immediately.
  • Please shower before entering any of these areas.
  • It is recommended that you stay well hydrated when using these areas.
  • It is safer not to use these areas alone.
  • If you are pregnant, you are advised not to use these areas.
