Living Longer Living Stronger is a progressive strength training program endorsed by Council on the Ageing (COTA). It is run in a fun, supportive and non-threatening environment for adults 50+ years.

If using the gym, participants must first complete a four week education and training program focusing on principles of strength and conditioning, correct exercise technique and gym etiquette.

A commitment to the four week program is required. It is run on a Tuesday and Thursday or Wednesday and Friday. Once you have completed the four week program, you have access to the gym at any time and during Fab Living classes.

In addition, a dedicated Living Longer Living Stronger instructor is available to you in the gym from Monday to Friday between 12pm-3pm. Bookings for the four week program must be made at reception.

"I went through the Aqualink Living Longer, Living Stronger introductory course and have been using the gym facilities for about three months. The introductory course was excellent and I really enjoy my time at the gym. I'm 57 and after spending my working life at a desk job, I felt the need to do something for my body. Parts of me were starting to creak. The LLLS program suited me exactly. Apart from a general feeing of well being that exercise brings, I notice that I can lift my grandkids much easier. I can get out of my chair more easily. I'm not as stiff in the joints. And I can feel myself improving each week. The staff at the gym are very helpful and friendly. A side benefit is I'm meeting some interesting new friends. The gym is now part of my way of life. It's great, and I thoroughly recommend it."
