Conditions of Entry

Welcome to Aqualink Box Hill.

To maximise your enjoyment at our Centre please be aware of the following conditions of entry:

  • Respect the rights of staff and other patrons at all times whilst visiting Aqualink,
  • All children under the age of 10 years MUST be actively supervised by a responsible parent or guardian over the age of 16 years at all times for their safety whilst visiting Aqualink,
  • All children under the age of 5 years MUST have a full fee paying responsible parent or guardian over the age of 16 years within arm's reach at all time whilst visiting Aqualink,
  • You must take reasonable care for your own safety and the safety of any children in your care,
  • Abusive language and aggressive behaviour will not be tolerated in the centre,
  • Inappropriate or offensive acts towards staff, patrons or facilities will not be accepted and person(s) will be instructed to leave,
  • Glass, alcohol and drugs are not permitted in the centre and surrounds,
  • Smoking is not permitted in the centre.  Please use outside designated areas,
  • Patrons to the centre will be refused entry if thought to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol,
  • Management reserves the right to refuse entry or remove persons, guilty of disruptive or disorderly conduct,
  • Use the centre at your own risk,
  • Surveillance cameras are in constant use throughout the centre,
  • The use of photographic equipment for capturing magic moments is subject to staff authorisation as we must respect the privacy of other patrons,
  • Follow directions of staff at all times,
  • Respect the rights of patrons at all times.
Gym Etiquette:

To maximise your enjoyment please be aware of the following:

  • In the interest of hygiene, patrons must carry and use a towel at all times,
  • Please wipe down equipment after use with products provided,
  • Patrons are required to return all equipment to the designated area after use,
  • Any offensive language or abusive behaviour will not be tolerated;
  • Lockers are available to store your valuables.  No bags permitted in the gym,
  • Weights are not to be dropped.  If you require a spotter, please see a gym instructor,
  • Collars are recommended when using barbells; 
  • Appropriate boxing wraps and gloves must be worn when using the boxing bag,
  • Appropriate workout clothing and enclosed footwear is to be worn at all times,
  • Work in with other patrons and limit cardio to 20 minutes during busy periods,
  • Please consider others and restrict use of mobile phones in the gym,
  • Food and hot drinks are not permitted in the gym,
  • Patrons under the age of 16 are not permitted in the Gym (Teen Gym excluded),  
  • Follow directions of staff at all times,
  • Respect the rights of patrons at all times.
Group Fitness Etiquette: 

To maximise your enjoyment please be aware of the following:

  • Entry to a class is not permitted after the advertised start time,
  • Please hold onto your ticket until the instructor collects it from you. No ticket no class, 
  • In the interest of hygiene, patrons must carry and use a towel at all times,
  • Wraps or inner gloves must be worn when attending Boxing classes,
  • Appropriate boxing gloves must be worn when using the punching bags and focus pads,
  • Please wipe down equipment after use with products provided, 
  • Before the start of a class, please inform the instructor if you are pregnant or have any injuries / conditions that may affect your exercise ability, 
  • Patrons are required to return all equipment to the designated area after use, 
  • Appropriate workout clothing and enclosed footwear to be worn at all times, 
  • Lockers are available to store your valuables, however bags are permitted in the Group Fitness and Cycle studio's in the pigeon holes provided,
  • Mobile phones are not permitted in the studio's,
  • Food and hot drinks are not permitted in the studio's,
  • Patrons under the age of 14 are not permitted in the studio's,
  • Follow directions of staff at all times,
  • Respect the rights of patrons at all times.
Therapy Zone Etiquette (Spa, Sauna):

To maximise your enjoyment please be aware of the following:

  • A wristband is required for access to the sauna and spa, please obtain from reception before entering,  
  • Please seek medical advice before entering this heated environment if you have any health concerns,
  • Please shower before entering the Therapy Zone facilities, 
  • It is recommended you remain well hydrated while using the Therapy Zone, 
  • If pregnant please seek medical advice before using the Therapy Zone,
  • No lap swimming in the Therapy Zone
  • Always keep your head above the surface of the water in the spa,
  • It is strongly recommended you use the sauna and spa for no longer than 15 minutes at a time,
  • Do not use the sauna or spa  if under the influence of drugs or alcohol,
  • Do not pour water on the sensor,
  • Do not place liquids or oils on the sauna element.  The sauna area is to be kept free of inhalants at all times,
  • Patrons are not to lay down whilst in the sauna,
  • Please ensure you place footwear on the floor, not on the benches,
  • No shaving, reading or exercising in the sauna
  • Please refrain from spitting or urinating in the Therapy Zone,
  • Please do not run in the the Therapy Zone,
  • Mobile phones are not permitted in the Therapy Zone,
  • Food and hot drinks are not permitted in the Therapy Zone,
  • Patrons under the age of 16 are not permitted in the Therapy Zone,
  • Follow directions of staff at all times,
  • Respect the rights of patrons at all times.
Stadium Etiquette:

To maximise your enjoyment please be aware of the following:

  • All courts must be pre-booked and paid for at reception prior to commencement of use,
  • Failure to arrive within 10 minutes of your booking time may result in your bookings being cancelled,
  • Users are to promptly vacate the court at the end of their booking,
  • Non marking footwear to be worn at all timess,
  • Follow directions of staff at all times,
  • Respect the rights of patrons at all times.
